Golden miniature rhyton from Persian Empire detected in Iran
The long range gold detector Bionic 01 and the undercover metal detector Rover UC, a 3d ground scanner controlled by an Android Smart Phone, have been used by Iranian treasure hunters from Kermanshah to locate a golden miniature rhyton, some oil lamps as well as several ancient coins from the Persian Empire.
Historic treasure with coins and goat figures detected in Iran
The 3d metal detector Rover Deluxe is very convenient for treasure hunters who are searching for coins, rings, jewelry and other precious artifacts made of gold and silver. A treasure hunter in Iran found antique coins and other artifacts like goat figures and horse bridles with his OKM metal detector Rover Deluxe.
Mummy found with the 'eXp 5000' ground scanner in Iraq
In 2010 the eXp 5000 again shows its agility for being a truly professional detector. During a customer training in Sulaymania, Iraq, a mummified cat was found.This discovery was found at a depth of about 1.5 m. In addition to the mummified animal a few coins were discovered.
Rover UC successful in Iran, hoard of coins excavated
About 300 pieces of these valuable precious coins have been found by a lucky Iranian treasure hunter. The coins have been located near Zanjan, about 300 km from Tehran, Iran.The treasure hunter is using the undercover gold metal detector Rover UC to find treasures, valuable targets and ancient artifacts from former empires in this region. These precious coins originate from the Sassanian empire, one of the most important Persian empires. And there are much more hidden treasures supposed in this area. Iran is rich of historic artifacts and ancient targets which are traces of the abundance of former Persian empires.The Rover UC gold detector detected this hoard of coins in a depth of approx. 4.70 m under the ground.
Iranian treasure hunter finds bronze artifacts in ancient grave
A treasure hunter from Iran sucessfully located an ancient grave with his 3d metal detector eXp 4000 from OKM. Inside the grave he discovered several bronze artifacts like figurines and ancient bells.
Ancient coins metal detected and unearthed in Syria
A large amount of more than 800 pieces of ancient coins has been detected by treasure hunters in Syria. They found the hoard by using the eXp 4000 metal detector and 3d ground scanner. This coin cache is very valuable and the value of each single coin is estimated from 150 - 8000 Euro.
World War II medal found in Tunisia
This medal has been detected by the 3d metal detector eXp 5000 in North Africa. It is obviously a German/Italian locket. The inscription says: "Campagna Italo-Tedesca in Africa. Italienisch-Deutscher Feldzug in Afrika." This metal detector find reminds of the Italian German campaign in Africa in 1937/1942. Mussolini's National Fascist Party created this Italian/German African campaign medal in memory of the actions of the German Africa Corps DAK (Deutsche Afrika Korps) in the North African campaign.After Italy's capitulation and declaration of war against Germany in September and October of 1943 respectively, further wear of any Italian decorations or awards including the Italian/German African Campaign medal was prohibited.The front side of the medal shows the Fileni arch (Arco dei Fileni), which was built by Mussolini on the border between the Libyan provinces of Tripolitania and Cyrenaica in 1937 and destroyed in 1970.
Sassanian sword found by eXp 4000 in Iran
This treasure find is a sword found by a customer from Kermanshah, a city in the west of Iran. The material is a mixture of iron/lead/copper/tin/gold/silver and antimony. This metal detector find belongs to the Sassanian Empire in the region.The Sassanid Empire was the last pre-Islamic Persian Empire, ruled by the Sasanian Dynasty from 224 to 651. The Sassanid Empire, which succeeded the Parthian Empire, was recognized as one of the two main powers in Western Asia and Europe, alongside the Roman Empire and later the Byzantine Empire, for a period of more than 400 years.The detected sword has a weight of about 1650 g and a length of 45 cm. The target has been detected by the earth imager eXp 4000 in the depth about 185 cm in clay soil.
